I just bought a 2000 Ram 1500. Is there a way to tell if my truck has remote locks? I know with Fords you turn the ingition on and off 5 times and if the locks cycle it does. So is their some thing like that for Dodge?

 

good question. i have an 01 1500 qc 4x4 and it auto locks the doors after your speed reaches 10-15 mph. i have been wondering if it has the remote locks as well. my buddy has an 01 chevy z71 with remote locks and he can change the autolock as you start going down the road option by cycling the ignition switch X amount of times and something or another. i cant remember. i wonder if its possible to call the dealer with vin and see if it came factory on our trucks?
