Rear view camera
I'm not sure about the camera myself. I know they put them in newer cars and trucks, but I don't know if anyone makes after market ones for our trucks.
In the mean time go out and buy a hitch. It'll set you back 20 bucks and it should hit most things before your bumper does.
Also those little circular tow mirrors are very helpful. You just stick them on the corner of your side mirrors. Makes backing up and changing lanes very easy.

tell me about it. I dont got one and I backed into a chain link gate post thing behind my bank today in a Vicodin-induced haze. Bent my bumper a little. I personally don't care, cause its dented already, but if you want a 'nice' truck, you don't want dents. :P
