de-badging my dodge! Help!

I got mine off of e-bay. Not for sure how much the dealership will charge. I think I paid about $20 a side.

i like the 2nd gens better. but thats my 2 cents. im not a big fan of the 3rd gens period.

I like the 3rd gen badges, but I think they are all crome, which doesn't look too good on a silver truck in my opinion. I've thought about getting a set and painting them black. Or, I might just wait till the '09 Ram comes out, and get a set of its badges (if they look good).

I personally don't like the de-badged look. Whenever I see a vehicle debadged, my first thought is that it must have just come out of the body shop and hasn't been finished yet. Just makes it look too plain in my opinion.

I have a 98 Ram Sport and I took the old ones off and replaced them with the 3rd Gen chrome ones and I get alot of compliments on the look. It's all adhesive tape backing and easy to do not to mention it covers alot of the non-faded areas where the old badging was.
