Default Upgrading My Stock V6

Well I've Realized that just putting some performance parts on my stock V6 will be the best way to go. Any recomendations on headers, intake, etc.? Any info on some things to throw on my V6

Ya 2 extra cylinders!
Find a wrecked truck with a 5.2 or 5.9 and swap over the engine and trans.

I think you will be disappointed with simple bolt-ons for the 3.9

Gibson headers , 1.7 roller rockers , and you can put on an open air cleaner... better muffler flowmaster , magnaflow..

if you play your cards right you wont have to make payments, but anyway. just get headers, improved throttle body, some type of exhaust, cold air intake or air cleaner, as padodgeram says roller rockers and stuff like that. but really id save all your money, buy a salvaged truck for cheap cheap, and convert it. its got all the stuff you need right there. take the computer, tranny and engine and swap em in it. good as new.

See if you can find a local insurance auction in your area. Look for a roll over or something that got hit hard. You should be able to get it for $600-700.
Then swap every thing over, engine, brackets, wiring everything.
