To switch from 3.55 to 4.10 front and back: what do you think materials and labour would cost? It is for my 99 ram 2500 4x4 automatic. Thanks in advance.

 

It varies greatly depending on where you are. Not sure what Canada's running. Around here I can get them done (by a shop I've used and know does a good job) for about 1000-1200+parts for both axles.

 

I'd like to know as well. Just bought a boat - with trailer its about 4800lbs and with 32" tires and stock weak gearing its a strain taking off in 1st gear on hills and hard to pull 5th gear or even 4th gear.

Any idea on new cost and / or junk yard cost?
