put in a safe
So this year I decided to put in a safe in my truck...It has a key anda number pad. I put it behind my front seat (reg. cab) I opened the box, and screwed it into the floor with concrete screws. Then i cut a peice of foam and put it in there for some padding, now i have a place to lock up my oakleys, gps, and other valubles...
screwed to the floor panel or the back wall? sounds likea smart idea.. id like to put one in so i have a secure spot to put my peice when i carry and want to leave it in the truck.
id like to know who makes the safe and where ya got it..
have you tested it yet? ie: give it one hell of a yank?

get yourself a pair of handcuffs and put one of them around your seat and the other around the trigger guard. Obviously make sure the safety is on (unless it's a glock) so you don't kill yourself when you try to take it off.
The safe idea is pretty cool, beats my redneck idea of putting a shotgun rack in place of the black trays behind my seats.

It's not the most high-tech, or the most expensive, but it does get the job done. Yeah i did yank the hell out of it but it wouldnt budge, i put a concrete screw in each corner and one in the middle. Its mounted on the floor behind my seat. Its good for what im using it for.
