local napa store. $5-7. you'll need to drill a 1/2" hole in the pan.
be careful of how long the plug kit is, and where you drill the hole.

Thx for the info. I gotta do that this spring. I'm gonna be towing a Mazda 626 about 1600 miles, so I want to change the filter and fluid. May as well do it while I'm at it... You think it would hurt anything to put some loctite on the nut inside?

locktite wouldn't hurt. probably a good idea.
the plug kit i bought was overly long up inside the pan, so i sawed about 3/8" off the pipe. the length of this pipe determines how much fluid you drain. it only needs to be as long as the thickness of the pan and the inside locknut.

i changed my fluid last week. it was so nice to drain out most of the fluid and weight.
