I want to change out the windows on my truck ('99 Ram 1500). The thing is, I want to change the truck from power windows to manual windows. Now, there are obviously no kits to convert from power to manual. A friend of mine said that the entire door would have to be replaced with a manual-window one. Does anyone know of a different way?

 

uh yea, they dont have different doors for different windows, they have different tracks and the parts inside for eletric/man windows, i would go to a wrecker to price out a manual window system. The problem with this is that you will have to keep your switches in the door, and have to drill a hole in your door panel, unless you get a door panel as well.
