I'm get between 13-15.

You know it's not that I doubt your inentions, and I definetly think it's worthwhile project, but you know this is going to cost you thousands of dollars right? and if you're going to stroke it go ahead and take that price and triple it. I mean if you have the money or are willing to put that much money into this project... why does it really matter if it gets crappy mileage?

You know while you're getting a donor truck it woulnd't hurt spend an extra couple bucks there and get a 4x4 and do the whole conversion. You'll get a stronger transmission out of the deal too. Can't really go wrong there...

have you thought about going to a junk yard and just getting a truck with the 5.9 in it that still has all the parts to run it
