Default shift like crazy

hey does anyone know if you can adjust the overdrive on a 99 dodge ram 1500 with an automatic, it seems to shift out of od way to early on some hills

i wish my truck was more like yours , mine shifts down too late. then once it shifts down your goin 45. I think you would want loosen the kickdown cable on the Tb

Yep, just loosen the kickdown cable a little bit on the tb.

passenger side of tb. its a cable that runs from tb to tranny.

i think we need a forum just for these damn auto trannys. the cold weather really makes them act up, also everyones truck does not seem to start nowadays. I hope theres not plague goin around

haha i really hope there is no plauge, my truck was dead like all summer, couldnt figue it out, first my dist cap went then next week my coil went that took two weeks to figure out, cause it still spit out spark just not ennough, then i had a tire separate, that took a day off, then my heater coil went
