Default Stalling help!

My 2001 5.9 gas 4x4 has a problem. it starts fine runs fine until it gets close to operating temp. then it will begin to stall, sputter, pop and seem like it is going to die. this only lasts a short time(15-30 seconds) then it will run file until it sits and becomes cold again. i'm new to the forum and would appreciate anyone with an idea about my pickup.

Default RE: Stalling help!

I just went through this with my 1500 and it turned out to be the IAC. There are several things that could cause the problem like a leaking intake gasket, vacuum leak or TPS and MAP sensor.

Default RE: Stalling help!

I'm having a similar problem with me 05 Ram 1500 4.7L. It idles roughly and stalls occasionally when coming to stops while driving. Had the computer updated to all the latest TSB specs, but still the problem exists. From what I've read around this site and on the internet I'm suspecting it is the Idle Air Control valve, anyone else have any suggestions/ideas?
