i just picked up a 1999 ram 1500 quad cab. im starting to get a hin of rust comin form the bottom of the doors. i was thinkin of mayb puttin the por 15 on it then getting the duplicolor bed liner kit and coating from the curve down. im still undecided the truck is 2 tone green and silver on the bottom. any pictures of ones that have done it or any suggestions?

Did it to mine before the rust started. I would agree with you that if you want to do it, you should run the POR-15 beforehand to prevent problems down the road. I've heard that's pretty good stuff.

 

GO with the Por-15 but dont go with the Dupli color bed line stuff. it chips really easy. a pressure washer can blow it off. get the good roll on stuff like Herculiner

I'm going to that to my truck someday. I got to fix the rust first. What is Por-15?

 

Its like a really good primer thaT seals rust off completely, very expensive though
