I searched extensively and found no information.

Is it even possible to fit 2500 front calipers on a 1500 Ram? Would I be better off buying a set of performance calipers?

I saw the thread about the upgraded cylinders for the rear drums and I'm intrigued.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

I dont know what that would involve. could be some modifiying. I would say go with performance 1/2 ton calipers and good rotors and pads

 

Good call - the only reason I was really thinking 2500 calipers was for the extra braking power anyways. Any idea who might make a good caliper for the Ram?

 

I don't believe the front 2500 calipers will fit
without the 2500 spindles and perhaps A arms and other parts too.

Have you tried looking at Stainlesssteelbrakes.com? They offer some upgrades for the 1/2 ton dodge's. I believe one of the upgrade options is putting on 3/4 ton brakes onto a 1/2 ton. Dont quote me on that but its worth checking out anyways.
