Seafoam
It basically acts like a fuel system cleaner like techron or lucas fuel additive. Use about 1oz per gallon of gas, maybe a little stronger if you notice your plugs are really fouled up.
Seafoam is good, but it works even better if you use about 1/3 of the car through the vacuum line off the brake booster. You take the vacuum line off of the booster and remove the check valve, then start the truck and hold the can next to the line and allow engine vacuum to pull the seafoam in. After you have run 1/3 of the can through, then you shut the truck off and let it sit for 15 minutes. After the 15minutes drive the truck down the road to get rid of any of the seafoam left in the system and any carbon that has broken loose.
How is that any different then just spraying it down through the throttlebody? I'm just curious, never used it myself, but was thinking about doing it, and was just wondering what the best mothod would be.

spraying thru the TB is safer then using a vacume line , why you ask ? ill tell ya..hydrolock , thats right .Hard to control it thru a vacum line and to much mite risk a hydrolock , OUCH !!!! Ive used it , deep creek ? safer to spray it in little at a time and use the pour bottle for the gas tank..
If you pull it through the vacuum line into the intake and combustion chamber and loosens everything up. It is put into the combustion chamber full strength and gets tougher deposits that it does not loosen up from putting into the gas tank. What you are doing is the same service that any garage or dealership charge you $75 to $100 to do. The crap that comes out of the exhaust when you drive it down the road will suprise you.
