Anyone have/recommend Gibson Exhausts?
I would like to get a cat-back setup. JC Whitney sells Gibson, so I am not sure if they are just some cheap system. I have seen a couple of youtube videos of the Super Truck setup and its nice, but I warm my truck up in the garage (both bay doors open and no one in the garage), and the exhaust would blast my wifes car. See video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRWbkEPHrn4
I also read on a DIY post that SI/SO give slightly better overal performance due to the dual's having some exhuast pulsing conflict. I don't know what that means exactly to someone who isn't racing or mod'ing their truck. But I am looking for something that is throaty, able to give some performance/mpg gain, and not as loud as the Flowmasters. I don't want it to sound like its straight piped, but I also don't want it to sound like a Toyota Prius.

Gibson is not cheap by any means , if your just looking for a tad bit hp/mpg , flowmaster 50 series , or flowmaster 70 series is just a tad louder then stock , or a flowmaster 50 series SUV , if flowmaster does not do the trick look into magnaflow or same design but cheaper Xlerator Muffler .. These 2 mufflers are not loud at all rember shorter the case louder the muffler...
