I really dont see it being an issue , but when stop in traffic u mite.. fans i have on are rated at 2500 cfm at 2000 rpm .. when moving or driving my temp does not hardly move but if i let her sit after a few mins. the temp climbs to about 199* then the fans kick in and it only takes a min for the temp to drop( you can hear the fans run) .. for towing maybe jump up to the bigger 5000 cfm...plus i have mine hook up to the AC so when thats on so are the fans..

How did you weld that aluminum? I remember this aluminum weld stuff I saw on an infomercial. Looked like a heat gun and special aluminum solder.

The fabricating and aluminum welding on that custom shroud shows admirable skills!

However, I would keep the option of being able to easily put the viscous clutch and fan blades back on
for heavy towing in hot weather...especially if the truck has to go up in altitude over mountain passes.

Why not mount electric fans inside the factory shroud between factory fan and radiator?
