Default Long Tubes INSTALLED Y-E-A-H!!

Ok, got these damn Pacesetter long tubes installed along with, y-pipe, magnaflow hi-flow cat, and magnaflow muffler giving me 3" all the way back. HOLY ****! LOUD! I love it guys, I've got a couple of small problems one of which is an exhaust leak I can fix tomorrow. The other problem is that my cat has moved 3ft to the rear so I can't hook up the second oxygen sensor. I'm thinking of just getting a simulator unless you guys know where I can get an extension. What a jump from stock exhaust. I haven't got into it yet, I'm gonna give it some time to break in, and I need something for that rear O2 sensor.

Good deal man, glad to hear you're happy with your install. I'd say go with a simulator; they aren't expensive and may be easier than to extend the current O2 sensor. Get some videos up or something though man, geez.

LOL I will, hopefully in the next two days. I got done at 8:30pm and wasn't in the mood, plus I want to let stuff burn in a little before I give it some.

Is the 02 sensor just normal wire? I was thinking it was on my Honda when I replaced it. If so couldn't you just get some hookup wire and solder it in to extend it or would that mess it up?

Just go to the store and grab some same guage wire and cut and splice the wire in to the length you need.

My mechanic highly recommended that I not do that. He said that the acid in the solder would eat away at the connection even if its sealed properly. Something about how in normal electronics its no big deal but the that vehicles cpu is so sensetive and reads at such a high rate that it will degrade the signal causeing the truck to run like crap. Said he's seen it happen a few times and my guy really knows his stuff. I found some 36 inch extensions on summit I might pick up.
