Default carr lightbars

I have been thinking about getting a carr delux lightbar. it is a roof mount lightbarthat seems to hook into the door rails. however I cant determine wheather or not this particular lightbar requires the use of the gutterless mount kit. the truck is a 99 quad cab 1500. the different websites I have found look like they give conflicting info for this particular truck... I dont know if the fact that its a quadcab makes a difference. insight from anybody that has or had one of these bars would be helpfull.

thank you that is actually exactly what I was looking for... a straight answer on the gutter mounts. BTW how many lights did you run on it, it says it will hold 4lbs but I wanna run 5 lights I dont know how much they would weigh. Also do you know why its a seperate fit for the quad cab... I want to put it far enough forward on the roof that it wouldnt be over the back seats anyway... I just think it would look better more toward the front.

If you look at the part numbers, all the 1500 and 2500/3500 models of the same years/body stylehave the same part number for regular and quad cabs. Probably listed seperately so buyers would not need to figure it out.......

03 quad is the only one that changes..

Yeah I did 4 KC day lighters. Weighing wise not much it took a little off my gas mileage maybe 1mpg with the wind residence on top. i did it as far forward as much so it wouldnt hit my roof and cut some of the light off but i didnt do it to far its up to you
