i have a similiar type of problem i guess.. sometimes when driving non highway just city i give it a little gas but the tac moves up and it doesnt move but then when i let off a little bit and give it gas it goes. I think i might need a new transmission filter. what you guys think?

 

I've had a few instances in which the truck was pulling hard under cruise (usually on an incline but not always steep) and it just jumps like a ghost hammered down on the gas. I just tell my fiance the truck's possessed by Dale Earnhart.

 

haha im from saskatchwan canada im used to icy conditions haha, my truck loves to downshift to, pisses me off alot

 

As a rule, I never drive with cruise on in icy conditions for this reason, but that one time, the conditions just didn't seem icy at all. Suprising how quick conditions can change though.

 

i agree thats why i dont use cruise in ice either, but ive had it where im climbing hills in 2wd and i go sideways and stop moving, cause just no traction
