Default How not to use your cup holder

So on saturday, my pickup was parked on my sloped driveway facing down hill. We were trying to get gone for a trip to the grandparents. I set a bag full of baby books and toys on the center console while I was loading up some other stuff. I think it got bumped when my wife got in, and it slid off and landed on the cup holder (the kind that folds down out of the dash). Just crushed it. Coffee that was in it spilled all over the floor (glad I have the vinyl floor instead of carpet). Now the cup holder is just dangling from the dash. There were some plastic pieces and springs laying on the floor in the puddles of coffee. Great way to start my weekend. Today, I find that the dealership wants $113 for new one. eBay run about $103 for new ones. There are also some used ones on eBay too for around $40-$70, but who knows if they are already broken too.

So anyway, i'm looking for a new one if anyone has one laying around. Here's my post in the classifieds:

Sorry to hear about that, but accidents happen. I know you love your wife more than your truck. Actually, I made my cup holder better by tearing off the bottom when it broke. Now 32 ounce drinks fit great. I just pull out the ashtray when I put in a 20oz bottle of soda. The passenger side still has the base, or what I call the launching pad for any kind of drink.

Junkyard. I have to get some stuff for my Ram and am planning a trip. If I find one should I grab it for you?

Hopefully this coming Saturday. It is supposed to be in the 50's. I might even go Friday after work.

I just found a good deal on a new one, and think I will just go that route. A new one will look nice since it is not 10 years old, and I know for sure that it wasn't ever broken in the past. Thanks anyway VW, appreciate the offer.
