Default Water Pump And Tie Rod ?'s...

Couple questions...

I think my water pump is ****tin' the bed. I posted awhile back about a kind of squeal I was getting from the pulley's. This morning I pop the hood for a buddy of mine so he could see my Air Cleaner, and he pointed out all the coolant that's being sprayed on my passenger side engine mount and that side of the engine. Wonderful I thought.
I poked around the at pump a bit, and I can see where is leaking, there's some coolant on the pump itself, but it looks like it's leaking from the gasket, and spraying it all over the inside of the engine bay on the passenger side. It's not leaking horribly, but enough. My question is does this sound like a bad pump? or just a bad Hose or something? I can't see any leaks from the hoses.

Here are the pictures:

Second question is about the driver's side tie rod. I noted it in the picture. My question is should it rotate like I drew in the picture? It doesn't go much, but I can make it turn a couple degrees without trying hard at all.

Thanks for the help.

I would say something is screwed up by the water or the pump is shot, also check the little bypass hose, and my tierods do that too, but they do not move side to side which i think is the main concern

Your tie-rods will rotate like that, even when brand new. It shouldn't be "effortless" though. The Force has it though, it is your side to side you should be concerned about. If you want to test them, get a pair of channel locks and see if you have a lot of play in the end itself.

Get a bar and pry down on the bar using the axle housing, if the ball moves out of the socket, the tie rod is junk
