I have a 94 ram 1500 5.2 auto 4x4, the possible doner truck is a dakota 1988 3.9 manual 4x4. I can get the truck on trade. From what I've read the 3.9 is like chevy's 4.3. same as the v8's munis the two cylinders. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm right, my question is will the manual trans mission fit in place of my 94 ram's auto, bolt pattern, trans mount? will the flywheels swap and starter work with it's new flywheel? I'm thinking that the swap would be kinda simple if theres not to much differnce between the years. Any know that has any imput or a link to somthing I've missed...that'd be great.
