I am trying to replace the threaded thermal fan clutch on my 01 QC 2wd 5.2 the instructions say to put a wrench on one of the bolts of the water pump for leveredge...but the cover on my truck has a smoth cover...help!

 

ahahaha, been there, you need a good strap wrench that wont chew up the pulley. Also, you know the threads are reverse threads right?

oooo, hope you didn't tighten it by mistake... it shouldnt be on there that tight, mine are not...
