Alright guysim thinkin of doin some mods and tell me what you think, AEM brute force intake, 50 fastman tb, New Tps, HS 1.7 roller rockers,Underdrive pulley set, and summit shorty headers.
My question is am i gonna have to get my pcm flashed to get the optimum performance out of these mods??? Note: these are all the mods i will be doing to the motor for a long time.
I figured this would really let the motor breath and and wake the bastard up. How much should I expect In HP increase????
With all these mods im hopin my truck will not be a dog goin down the highway anymore, Should I slap some 4.10's in too?????

4:10 will probably make the biggest difference.
I don't think you will need a PCM reprogram, but it not a bad idea. The custom PCM will probably increase ignition timing so be prepared to run premium fuel.

How are you runnin stocks gears??? Arent your tires like 34-35 ish , 3.55 dont seem like optimum gear for that tire, im runnin 30.5 tires and 3.55's suck
haha, idk how hes doing 3.55's either. I got em and if im going up a hill, shes a dog. can't hold speed, hardly can gain speed in OD. I have 245/75/16 and I was having a hard time talking myself into a set of 265/75/16's I would love to throw some 3.92's on since the max I would go is 33's on my D44. Sounds like a good start at least. I can't vouch for the fastman, but after hearing everyone here, I'm gonna swap mine down the road too. TPS was a good swap when i did mine. My old one was toast and could not hold speed up an incline. Not sure what the roller rockers would do by themselves but free up a few pony's. Probably wait for IndyRamMan 2 chime in on that. Underdrive frees up a bit too. your fastman and intake ought to complement themselves. I went with the open air cleaner myself. I'd say hold off on those summit headers till last to see if you can scrounge up a few more $$$. Get something a little higher quality. Just remember you get what you pay for but if you still want them, get some good gaskets and probably some stage 8 locking headerbolts (optional, also available at summit for around 50??) Sounds like a great start. I honestly can't wait till my water pump goes then thats when my engines getting built up. No sign of that soon which is a good thing I guess.
do the pcm flash. i don't care what anybody says,your pcm cannot "adjust" to mods. if that was the case, b&g, hypertech, superchip,and lots of other people would be out of a job. also, i had the brute force on a SRT-4, and it was a good intake, but I would choose the K&N FIPK on this application... let us know how it turns out...

The only reason i do not want to go with the K/n is because you have to screw around with oiling the filter, with the brute force you dont have too
go with the round open AC... hell im running 35s with 3.55 gear but that to will change..TB 250.00 FLASH 350 . 1.7 300 got 900 into it easy .. shift kit 109.00 , headers 149.00 gears on a 4x4 shop install 2000 .....
