Default Should I worry about this?

Whenever im driving, and my foot is on the gas pedal, but im not giving it gas, just settled out at whatever balanced RPM it should be at and I take my foot off it whether to rest it, or get ready to break, my RPM will shoot up 200 more then it should for a very quick moment, like 0.5 seconds. Then it'll ease down naturally. It seems to do this at anything above 30 miles an hour, up to 75 - 80 when im on the freeway. Havent gone any faster to see if it continues to do so.

Could it be my throttle? Should I figure out what this is?

It might be just the torque converter unlocking for a second during engine breaking.

Ya, that would be my first guess too.

Is that natural? Or does this later become a bigger problem?

What a trip... I just noticed my truck is doing the exact same thing. I just did a tune-up (cap, rotor, wires, 3923s, oxygen sensors, etc) and it just started. Hmmm. I'm not gonna worry about mine, but if it develops into anything, I'll post up and let you know.

Thanks for reply guys.

Yeah SilverRam_01, mine was doing it before tuneup, I did tuneup because its been awhile, and hope that it would fix that problem, but still there.
