Default 2001 ram 1500 QC laramie SLT questions?

Just wondering what wheel and tire combos to put on this baby. I am going to put a 2" leveling kit on it and am open to suggestion (if you think that would look not level). I want to put the biggest tires possible and have no idea what backspacing to get. I like BFG A/T KO's and am open on rim suggestions. My truck is black so I think that the black on chrome rims might set it off nicely. What do you guys think? Thanks

When looking at new rims and/or tires, I always check out www.tirerack.com. I usually don't but them there, but it usually gives me good ideas, and is a good place to find out what tires are best for what applications (via user reviews).

Id got with a set of 33" BFG MT's on a set of 16x8 wheels. Or maybe a set of Toyo MT's. I have 33" BFG MT's on 16x10 wheels and they rub when you hit a bump at full lock. This is with a 3" lift. I think I'd go with the 8" wide wheel to avoid that unless you want it sticking way out the side.

Defintely agree with the BFG AT's...one of the best all around out there...look good, last good, ride good. Wheels are a personal preference...I think black trucks look good with either black or aluminum...

Dont go any bigger than 285's or expect to be changing gear ratio's to regain lost power

thanks guys! Yeah I am seriously considering going with all black rims. I think they look sweet. I guess the place where I get the tires and wheels will be able to help with the correct back spacing. I think I am going to go with the 285/75R16 BFG A/T KO's or M/T's and the 16X8 rim. Thanks again for all the help and suggestions and anyone else that has any opinions feel free to chime in.
