EVAP pump solenoid location on a 2000 V10
Does anyone know where I can find the EVAP pump solenoid on a 200 V10? I have a haynes manual with a drawing but I am still having trouble locating it. [:'(]
It's part of the leak detection pump. It should be under the hood on the passenger side inner fender. not far from the back of the headlight.
It's been a while but I didn't think the 2500's had them. 3/4 ton and heavier were emission exempt from a lot of that stuff. It isn't a California truck is it?

The picture in the manual shows it just aft of the throttle body. Guess that would explain why i can't find it. I will take a look later and let you know what I find. I am in the middle of doing a recharge on the drop in K&N that I found in it, so I will be back under the hood tonight. I am not sure about the california part. I only saw one cat under the truck, do cali models have two? I am not sure how to tell.
Yeah, I put the wrong componant. Purge control solenoid is even what the picture says. I took a couple pics of what you sent me after. I will post them in a bit. What does the purge control solenoid look like? When I had the air box off All I really saw was the intake, throttle body, fuel rail and injectors.
