96 ram Richard Petty signature edition
Ok I'm new but I can't keep my mouth shut on this. There is no way I would buy this truck. 22K a blown engine and if it is the same one that the yahoo web page above states a real money pit. Abuse and lack of maintence no way. And I bought my 96 in August of last year for $3500.
Just my $.02

Is it the same truck as the one pictured earlier with the B&M shifter, or didn't you take notice?
I have been watching this thread and I have to say NO! If you want to pay homage to the King, paint on his colors!(not thePontiac ones)Put on the Superbird wing! Have his championships and number of wins airbrushed on the side. Put a real picture of him on the side. Twenty feet away that gold circle side view looks just like that-a gold circle. Put in racing seats and racing belts and a real roll cage, Hoosier tires, slam it. Dare I say it a REAL Hemi! In your face racing suspension, roll pan etc. Did I leave anything out? 86 the woodgrain too.
Yes I did, when you get it done, drive it to his house and stand out front and honk the horn until he comes out, Then get the fattest blackest permanent marker known to man and have him sign the hood REALLY BIG!!! Make him drive it too!
I agree on all points !!
That wood grain is silly, and since the engine is already blown a Hemi would be in order. That wing on the tail is about as close to a Superbird wing as you are gonna get I'm afraid.
Speaking of ...
Where are all of those Daytona's that I used to see with the big rear wing? I never see them anymore.

So I know this thread is rather old but I felt the need to reply to it as well...My dad has owned one of these trucks since they came out and I just have to say that his doesnt look anything like this...His has all original parts on it and I have seen others just like his and not like this one. I think this one has more modifications on it then the originals ones do. just my 2 cents. Which I am sure you probably didnt buy it but either way lol.

sorry for the confusiion the truck has 22,000 miles on it and is availabe for 3500.00.
