Default Lift Ideas

Hey yall, i have a '98 2wd and have been tossing around some ideas about what to do to it.I thought it would be fun to fit some 35's, so i did some research and found that to clear them i would have to lift about 5 inches. So i found fabtech's 3in performance lift and thought that i could do that with a 2in body lift, which seems to be a good idea to me.The only problem is that i do not know as much as some people, so wisdom and cool ideaswould be greatly appreciated.

so are yall sayin that going that high with 2wd would be too much? cause i could just forget the body lift and use some 33's instead.

Yeah you had a good idea with the 3" suspension and 2" body
Im not to huge on lifted 2wds but like Force said its your truck do what you want man.
And As long as youre not looking to really wheel it which i doubt you are, youre fine.
And Force is right Fab Tech is the way to go i just got a lift from them and going to install it soon
Good Luck!

dont think 2wd's are gay, just dont see the point of liftin a 2wd. its pointless. i would take all that money you are gonna spend on a lift and put it into mods for the engine. make it fast. sure some 33's would be cool but thats as far as i would go.

ya i'm thinking that i might just do that, it would definitely be cheaper. i already had custom exhaust work done and installed a tb spacer, so mabey i should just stick with performance, but a little bit of height wouldn't hurt.
