Does anyone know where I can get the top pieces that mount to the top inner fender and the shock comes up through. I just bought a 96 RAM 1500 and the ones on it are rusted and eroded pretty bad. I searched around on the internet and haven't come up with anything yet.

Your refering to the shock tower I beleive. Try eBay or junk yards.

 

Junk yard is where I would look.
Thats not a commonly replaced part so most people won't advertise them for sale

 

Are they rusted through or is the integrity of the mount comprimised? Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about replacing them. The used one's you will find will be about the same, new at a dealer would cost you an two arms and a leg.

 

Thanks for the replies. I'm gonna pull'em off this weekend and sandblast them to get a better look. I'm just starting out with this Dodge Ram. I am rebuilding a '67 Mustang coupefrom the ground up and I am used to getting any and every part possible from numerous catalogs. I am still learning what all is available for my new toy.

Thanks, Silver. I got them newat a local dealer for 20.00 each. I put them on last weekend with my new Bilsteins. I was surprised when I called them and found out the price. Ihaven't bought anything at a dealer for solong I just assumed they would be high priced.
