No brake, emergency flasher or signal lights
Maybe someone can help me out. My tail lights, and signal lights have been acting up but yesterday I lost them all together. Leading up to total failure: I had to have the steering whell in the total up position to have both tail lights functional and to use the left blinker. For right blinker the steering wheel had to be all the way down, this is also the only position that the cruise would work as well. So I suspect it must be in the column some where. I have it apart and have wiggled all connections I can see but no luck. I have checked every fuse in the both fuse boxes as well, all appear to be good. Any help would be appreciated.

For the tail lights sounds like you have a bad or now broken wire. check the connections between the tail lights and the trailer plug harness. For the turn signals check both flashers there is one for the turn signals and one for the fourways. they could be going bad. You said you had the column apart did you pull the wheel? The clock spring could be bad which is the part that conects all of the stearing wheel controls to the column and still lets the whell spin. The only way to check it though is to pull the wheel. In all honesty I would seriously consider this it is what is probably at fault.

Update, last night I rechecked the fuses under the hood. I had two blown fuses, hazard and brake lamp. Two days ago my son washed my truck and I thought maybe something got wet that should not have and shorted the fuses out. So I replaced them. Still no brakes, but the signal lights worked the same way as before tilt full up for turning right and tilt full down for left. Before I got home they stopped working again. Fuses were blown. This morning I replaced the signal switch assembly and replaced the fuses. This solved my tilting the steering wheel issues and then the fuse blew again. It think I may have a few issues going on. I read where Dodge had a recall on the clock spring. I think I will give them a call. Thanks for the help so far fellas. If you think of anything else please let me know.
