If you're going carburated (esepecailly with a 440) you better skip right over than six pack and put dual 4 barrels on it

4mpg or bust

Heres the pictures.

I put the fire out totaly before they arrived with my garden hose...they stole my hose from me because they couldnt get their hose off the truck fast enough, so they kept spraying the truck with MY hose. Then they chopped the dash up with a halagin bar to look for remenants, dispite my repeated attempts to remove the glovebox so they could access behind the dash without going axe happy. Guess whos not voting for their budget this year. Cops werent any better. They were being total d!cks to me on my own property. Some new guy was trying to give me a pep talk that was totaly putting me down, so I said, "with all due respect sir, I appriciate what your trying to do, but I dont need this kind of a pep talk right now" and he, standing on MY lawn, said "well then you can get the hell away from me. Not voting for their budget either. I put the fire out with the least damage, I controlled the situation, I was respectful, and I got raped in the a$$ by them (they tore apart the soffit on my house as well). I understand them checking stuff out to make sure things dont get ablaze again, but if the fire is out, and they were PREPAIRED to put it out again if it did spark up (which they werent...they just had MY garden hose) they should have no problem in taking the extra 2 min to make sure damage isnt done to my property...which from what i remember from being in my townships fire department was our #2 duty aside from making sure everyone was alive and well. Im even considering a lawsuit against the department for unnessissary use of force in this incident.

But...in the end its not as bad as it looked last night. It shouldnt be a diffacult fix. At least I can get in there and clean up everything I wanted to clean up but didnt feel like doing when I put the cam in.
so you would have rather them pull off a 3" hose off their truck and completely spray the interior even more?
gutting the dash like that is to avoid any other possible newsparks, ya, you've already said that..

but trying to sue a public service for acting to prevent any more fire?..wtf..ignorant as **** man. your insurance coverage (if you actually put on fire comprehesive) will already pay for the damages, you get a new dash out of it anyways, so why cry about it..

if you tried that on a department i was on, then down the road if your house ever started, i'd probably make sure you're out of it and just let the house burn, so you couldnt try and sue again for damaging your house trying to put the fire out.

They do their jobs, and you sue them..
You may have had a nice truck, but if you sue, you lose respect as a human being.

Well yeahif I'd alreadyput the fire in my houseout by the time you got there i'd hope you woulnd't do anything else to it, that's all i need is some axe happy fire fighter causing water damage to my house after I already put the fire out. That's what he's pissed about. He already had the fire out and they went and ****ed his truck up anyway after he told them NOT TO.

and if you ever just stood there and let my house burn down I would sue your department for not doing anything

so...

a.) think before you talk
b.) think before you needlessly destroy someone elses property.

dude wtf man, thats bull ****, he already had the fire out! not only that it was a fairly small fire and it was in the engine compartment, what in the name of **** do they need to go destroy his ****ing dashboard for? that thing in between the engine and the inside where the dash is is called a FIRE WALL. hmm wonder y that ita fire that small the he was able to control himself is not going to get through that and under his dash! no they do sound like a bunch of axe happy douche bags and they need to be punished! this in NJ we pay out the *** for taxes for all there gear and ****, all they had to do was walk to the truck and pull out there ****ing inferred scope and look to see if there was anything hot under there, but no they had to destroy the poor kids truck because its just more fun![:@]
