how manyoxygen sensor should i have in my truck its a V8 5.9?

 

It has 2. One before the catalytic converter, and one after.

What does that have to do with the plenum plate?

 

Unless his truck is a california truck, I think they have 4 o2 sensors. Not sure what that has to do with plenum plate either.

 

well i did mean to put that as the subject iam replaceing the plenum plate here pretty soon and bought my parts for it today. So rite now my mind not all there i didnt get alot of sleep last nite sorry lol but thanks for the answer

 

Well, actually, the O2 sensors could be fouled up by the oil leaking into the intake and going through the exhaust...

And yes, it's definitely 2. I had a ton of trouble finding any place that listed the correct parts, so I wound up going to www.oxygensensors.com and bought a pair of denso O2 sensors for 110.89 (with free shipping).
