V10 PCM???
Anybody got a V10 PCM they don't need or want to sell?? My Alternator isn't charging, so I repaced it, and still nothing. I know the battery is good, all grounds good. Did some research, and found out the alternators regulator is in the pcm (friggen fantastic, and no wonder it tested bad at the Autozone). Anyway, it looks like I may need a pcm, although without a DRB3 I can't test it to be sure. But with all circuits testing normal, the last option is the computer. So.......Anybody got a line on a fairly cheap 2002 V10 PCM???
Well.....I had to ask...right?

I haven't had any issues like you stated, but i can comment its not that easy to get a PCM for V10's for this truck well atleast not cheap. I've been looking for a Mopar Performance PCM for my 95 V10 for awhile, even B&G wouldn't help me due to the age of mine[:@]. If i run across one i'll let ya know though.
If you dontmind a temp fix,you could put a $30 old style voltage regulator on it. It is not hard. I had to put one onmybuddystruck while we were 1300 miles away from homeon vacation. His dodge dieselpcmwent out so in order to get back home we put one on and that was about a year ago and it is still hooked up and working fine. It only requires two wires two and from alt and one wire that is hot when key is on so a total of three wires. you use your stock alt and you can just by pass the factory wiring to the alt.that way if you ever find a compute you can unhook the temp fix.
Sorry it took me so long, not like anyone realy gives a ..... but it was the PCM. The alternators regulator is in the PCM, and had cooked itself. I had the unit repaired....cheaper but took longer to get back...and now everything is back to perfect. Not a fun time, took almost a month from broke to fixed, and alot of phone calls 'n such, but heck, runs like a top again!
