I was going to wrap the rails, but I bought the wrong Thermo-Tec. Didn't even realize it till today. I'm still planning to go back and do it, but it isn't urgent. I've read that it is not necessary because the fuel isn't in the rails long enough to make any difference, but i'm still willing to try it.

Exactly Jegs was the same way when I ordered a bunch of stuff. They are both great companys to deal with but the handling charge is way more than shipping. If I can't find them anywhere else I might just get them there. I don't know of much else I need so it's a lot for that small of an order but if you needed abunch of stuff it isn't so bad. It wasn't a bad deal with Jegs when I spent a couple hundred on stuff but if it had been a $20 order it wouldn't have been worth it.

lol, yeah but inquiring minds want to know. I wanted to know if he was going to wrap his rails while he had it torn down. I just did this on my 2000 dak.

On my dak... with a CAI change, fuel rail wrap & 3923 plug swap... I went from 150 miles/half tank to 175~180. (still running it) I would have had a great mileage comparison however my right foot got the better of me this morning.
