Engine Swap???
has anyone ever heard of having any problems putting a 360 from a 2000 4x4 ram into a 1995 2wd ram with a 5.2 i ask this question because i have a 360 that i would like to swap into my truck but im wondering if i would have any problems where the 2000 is OBDII and mine is OBDI because if im not mistaken i am pretty sure the blocks are the same i think.. i was just wondering if anyone has ever done something like this and would know hwere i might run into problems. if anyone has anything let me know. thanks!

I have done it. It is easy! You dont have to change anything! But if you can you could install the 2000 injectors onyours to increase power you will need the wire conectors with it. You could also get a 5.9 computer but your 5.2 comp. will work. The 5.2 comp will give you around 97% of total power. the 5.9 will give you 100% It should be easy for you to find you same year truck with a 5.9 if you wanted to.
well im not looking to get a whole new truck i just painted it myself last june and want to kind of build it up as i go. but i have a 2000 5.9 and everywhere i have looked people are talking about the internally ballanced crank on the 5.2 and how i need to the flexplate to the 5.9 but if the 5.9 is still in the other truck couldnt i take everything rite from that truck and dump it into mine. plus my truck has the OBDI computer in it and the computer that is actually in it i bought off my friend who had it in his 95 ram 2500 witha 5.9 in it so technically i guess you could say its a mopar emissions exempt 5.9 computer. but your saying you have done the swap from a 2000 to a 95 with no problems??
