abs light and parking brake lights on

Default abs light and parking brake lights on

my old man has a 2001 ram 1500 5.9 and a while ago his abs light and parking brake lights came on i put new brakes on the front but that didnt help so then it must be the back or theres a fault somewhere, but i just havent had a chance to change'em

It would be a good idea to check the rear but that should not cause the lights to come on unless the break fluid is low. You will have to hook up to a scan tool and read the codes. Most of the time it is a speed sensor.

This is uslauuy caused by the speed sensor on the top of the rear differential. But it could be wiring or a ABS sensor on the front wheels....
