i have a Draw-tite brake controller to install in my truck. any ideas on mounting? the ashtray is not wide enough. i like the drink holder. the glove box is far away. i know it will end up under the dash someplace but i was hoping for something better? i thought making the wires longer and doing a install in the center console on seat but seems like a bunch of work. any ideas?

 

Remove the panel below the column and tere is braces there. I mounted mine there and it works fine. Jus makes adjusting the controller dificult.

 

I have mine mounted just above my right leg to the dash. It's easy to get ot if I need, and out of the way at the same time.

 

have mine mounted over my left leg next to the parking brake lever under the dash. ez to reach in an emrgince but not in the way of geting in or out.
