Could very well be that. I was reading around the net.. u might have a valve that has decided to stick and the injector could be filling the cylinder.. then when it stops stickin would run better.

Ever since i gapped my plugs to .45 I noticed it took a bit longer to start. I figured i could do that with an MSD and hi perf coil.

Anyone thing that gap is too much?

^ I've read from some of the other guys posts that .45 is a bit too much. After a while, the gap is going to open up, and .45 is on the upper end of where you want the gap to be. Try gapping at .40 +/- .01 or so. I gapped my 3923s at .40 and my truck fires up with me barely hitting the key.

I hear thats the perfect gap. ".40" is stock and with the msd, they say to widen it".5" and you would arrive at your number you have now. If your concerned about it, drop it down a hair. I also heard that the msd makes the cap's and rotors wear out faster. Thats why I just went with an accel coil that replaces stock coil. I needed an adapter wire, but I havn't had a problem at all.
