Default hey man does anyone have a custom bumper on their trucks

hey, long story short... i had to get pulled out of a hole and ididnt have tow hooks. So i wrapped around the bumper with a winch and destroyed it. so now im looking to either buy a new bumper or try something and weld one up but being that the rams have a rounded nose welding up a straight bumper would look stupid and to really follow the lines of the bumper will be a tough cut and weld with a thick gauged steel or diamond plate. Please post pictures and ideas of what i should do .. thanks - John

Look at places like LMC or Rockauto for replacement bumpers.

Next time just take your bumper off and connect the cable to your frame.

anyways check out alien patrol bumpers, and ranch hand bumpers.

I've heard enough bad about Alien Patrol I'd probably stay away from them. There are a few threads on it over at PS and threads just seem to pop up everywhere about it. With as much money as the bumpers cost I wouldn't risk that much money I'd just go with a proven brand.

I have another 01 ram with a Ranch hand bumper.... its the toughest thing on the truck, it is a little heavy but its worth it. It is 1/2" steel where it attaches at the frame and 1/4" most other places, it also has a mount for a winch so next time you wont need pulled out lol.... I think it cost around $850.00 but its definately worth the money...
