slipping tranny? or misfire
well i got a problem, a friend of mine has basically the same Truck as me but with a 318 (5.2) and 263,XXX miles on it. about a month and a half ago he was playing in some flooded streets running through puddles, normal truck stuff. well then he had some electrical problems, let everything dry out finally got it started, took it to the shop, had everything reset and apparantly had a couple of misfire codes. well it got cleared he got the truck back, everything was fine, that was about 4 weeks agonow we a rea back at school, and he has a misfire again, we ahve new plugs and wires for it(havent had time with school and work to put them in) but it feels like his transmission is slipping, i drove it the other day and when you really get on it after cruising at around 60 you can feel it slip. i know the tranny was rebuilt at sometime by the previous owner. someonetold himthat it could be the engine due to a misfire slipping? but that doesnt sound right? also the truck doesnt quite pull the same, but im used to a 360, and hsi always seemed weaker. i was just wondering if that makes any sense, i still feel its the tranny, sould it be engine electrical? it runs and idles fine...

ok so, now maybe i can get some help. replaced wores and plugs yesterday and new airfilter, pulled the cap and cleaned it out and put everything back together. accidently broke a vaccum line, fixed that today, and truck was running good. still a lil rough, but pretty good.
now its throwin CEL with codes 43 and 12. 43 is misfire wire or injector(i thinkk) but what is 12 i couldnt find that one?
