Single filers with AGI below $75,000 will get rebates of as much as $600. Couples with AGI below $150,000 will receive rebates of up to $1,200. In addition, parents will also receive $300 rebates per dependent child; there is no cap on the number of children eligible.An example: A couple with one child and $100,000 in AGI will get a rebate of $1,500 ($1,200 + $300). If they have two children, they will get $1,800 ($1,200 + $600). Tax filers who do not owe income taxes because of various credits and deductions but have at least $3,000 in income - which can include Social Security and disability payments - will get $300 rebates per person or $600 per couple.

im only gettin 340 back.. (better than nothing) Looks like that will pay for the bilsteins shocks. Still throwing that up in the air as they cost so darn much. I need shocks bad, so... unless I come up with a good alternative.

No big *** rebate for us Canucks. Just the regular rebate if we're lucky, I should do ok, I got a cross-country move I can claim.......oh yeah.....I gotta to my roof this summer too!

I can't claim my kid until she gets a birth abroad birth certificate. I had to co to Canada to find my wife and the kid was born in Canadia while I was deployed. I can't even claim her yet. So when I get my 06 AND 07 taxes ammended i will get an assload. All going into savings though. Me and the wife determined that it would be best to take all taxes gained due to children, into their own savings accounts for when they go to college...because I ain't paying for it. I am gonna say to my children what my mother said to me, "If you don't get into college for free, you are paying rent, working during the day, and going to community college at night." That seemed to work for me if you want to try it on your kids.
