What is the difference really between the two??They don't seem much differnt for the dodge. I think they don't do gears andshift points/firmness or 0-60 and stuff idk.. Does anyone have either and know for sure thanks.

 

I have a PP3 what would you like to know about it? A guy over on another forum I visit that runs a shop says he has seen better gains from the Max Energy but I didn't want to pay the cost for it when I got a great deal on the PP3.

 

What can you do with the hypertech 3

 

Adjust the speedo for tires settings, raise the rev limited up to 500 rpms I think it is higher, Looked like you can lower the rev limiter too, you can set it on a 93 or 87 octane performance setting, you can adjust the top speed limiter to either 116 or 128, and you can read and clear trouble codes. I think thats all you could do but I'm not 100% sure. If you put it on a prefomance setting I'm not sure what all it changes.

 

what power gains did you see? was it worth the deal you paid for it?

 

Powerwise was hard to tell as my TV cable on my tranny wasn't adjusted right so it didn't want to downshift when it was floored like it should. I got this fixed the next day. Due to this I didn't get an accurate butt dyno feel for it. Seems like it might have slightly helped but I don't know. I just like the other features to it mostly. Was it worth the $400 they sell for? Not to me. Was it worth the $160 I paid? So far I think it was probably worth that.
