Default Ticking noise when pressing brake pedal?

Just noticed it, sometime when I press my brake pedal I head a ticking noise from behind the dash if I let off the pedal it goes away. The closest I can compare it to is a turn signal noise, but not as loud or constant. Sometimes it ticks fast and sometimes slow and sometimes not at all? Hard to tell, but I sometimes get that feeling in the pedal that the abs is kickingin, but I can't really tell. Suggestions?

First, I'd have to see if you have a really pissed ex-wife who can't read bomb instructions very well....then......

Any ideas? I am thinking it might have something to do with the abs system, cuz I thought I felt it again today. The road condition have been dry so the abs shouldn't be kicking in
