I have a regular 98 1500, was wondering if anyone has put the same year or newer headlights that came on the sport model. They definitely look better than the stock on the non sport edition.

I have found places that sell them, but for some reason I am thinking they might not work in a non sport edition due to wiring.

Anyone have a clue if they would work?

 

What you're looking for is the 99-01 sport lights. The 98's still used the regular light assembly. The 99-01 sport units are a dual bulb set-up, but it's possible to use them on other rams. You have to do a little trimming on the headlight bucket and either purchase a wiring harness or build your own to work with them. They did a group buy over on Pavementsucks a little while back.
