Default Lift Kit.

Hey Guys I know there has beenA LOT of questions about lift kits and body kits.. just need some info for myself . I am driving a Dodge Ram 1500 '99.. No leveling kit. Regular Cab, 2wd.
Just wanted to know maybe some brand names.. and what i should look into for getting a good 3" Lift. Better to go body or suspension.. Mabye a price range im gonna be around.. Will not be an off road truck.. More like a Show Truck

Might as well go body lift. Check out preformance accessories. Won't effect your stock ride, and you'll have more room under your hood.

Energy suspension in San Clemente has it all...

Body lift kits, coil spring spacers, plus something I've never even seen before. Leaf Spring Spacers??? Wierd, but maybe they're not too shabby.

People always say, if you're going for show, go with a body lift, if you're going for performance, go suspension.

For safety's sake, go with a suspension lift. When you do a body lift you take the entire body of the truck off of the frame (where its stable) and put it "on blocks" which of course takes away from the stability that the manufacturer had thought up when they put the body on the frame.

A friend of mine was in a wreck with her chevrolet avalanche that had a body lift and a man rear-ended her and it pushed her entire body forward (breaking the bolts) off the blocks....

so i say go with suspension

Front lift spindles, 4 RC Hydro 8000 series shocks, and rear blocks & u-bolts. Is that all im gonna need to do the entire mod by myself.. gonna go ahead and add a stearing stabalizer in there also. Its a Rough Country Suspension Kit.
