Wierd noise. Uhh oo
I went wheelin today and had a blast. The truck was a beast and a half!
lol On the way home i had the dumby oil indicator come on. It said check guages and went to zero for a second and made a ding. Then went back to normal. So i went to get oil cause i have a plenum leak thats getttin fixed this monday with the hughes kit. I took a wopping 2 qts! and it still needs more. When i drive it makes some sort of a whining noise thats RPM dependent. As far as performance whise its fine. I even raced a single cab chipped 7.3 ford f250 and won by a truck length. I was stoked
What do you guys think this whining noise is? Powersteering maybe? I also took it through the car wash and did under carraige and powerwashed engine bay. Thanks!

my pump went while offroading. the junkyard pump I pulled and put in whines like a lil bi+ch, and is rpm dependent. I got a new one all setup and torqued to the bracket ready 2 do when i come home in march. I'd bet it is your ps pump if you notice no performance difference. Pop your hood and see if you can locate it. When I pop my hood, I know the powersteering is making the noise..... (unless my bud swap'd in a set of noisy timing gears...

That truck is a racing machine, you should go pro.
Now, to your defense... I drive my father in laws 99 F-250 7.3 4x4 that has a chip, its the red one with the big black "G" on it. I would have to guess that you could certainly hang with it. I don't really know for sure since my truck has a turd for a transmission. its getting rebuilt now. But I would have to say it would be close, because once the turbo is in and that black smoke it pouring out the back... its a rolling thunder.
next time you are out snagging up pink slips, how about showing us some proof. just have a passenger operate the camcorder.
