Default Parking on a slope

My driveway has a good slope to it. What is the best way to park on it (face up or down slope) to facilitate the best oiling of the engine at start up?

I heard that engine starts when facing up hill is bad on your engine over time because the oil is in the back of the pan. Anyone have any comments on this?

Thanks.

It really doesn't matter if your oil level is where it should be.
If you are still concerned, look at your oil pan, see the deep part? park with that end down hill.
Didn't say what kinda vehicle, so can't be much more help than that!

Well, considering what section it's posted in, it's a 94-2001 Dodge Ram.

I agree that it shouldn't matter as long as your oil level is correct. But I know several people who swear but parking "nose down" because the oil doesn't go to the back of the engine... but those that don't park that way, their trucks are fine, so I wouldn't worry too much... maybe switch it up and park nose up one day and nose down the next.
