I'm glad your truck's straight! I can't wait to start my modding after I get the maintenance done. After Tranny, I got the cat to replace (may as well mod it with a high flow from magnaflow) then Heater Core/Plenum. Then I figure to start with exhaust like you did, then go with fastman/open air cleaner (still dunno about this volant you post about). Don't think headers fit me at this point, so i'll spend that money in sound system/shocks. Rims and Paint, mayyybe a drop kit. I saw a slightly dropped ram that looked really good to me, since mine aint a 4x4 I may do it. never drop a 4x4. It's a man law. lol. Sorry I'm drifting. your just givin me some hope!

Here is a link for a 02 sensor simulator that will make your PCM think that you have perfect catalytic converters. Thus, better mileage. Downside though, the O2 sensor wojn't be telling your injectors to make the engine run rich anymore, meaning that you mileage will go up and power will go down slightly...

Hey Slomojo, I have a gutted cat at the moment, so she is as free flowing as possible. But yes I was referring to my brothers truck, we were at a light, and he floored it and the truck was just going everywhere, it was really awesome seeing the big block live. But, the ram, she is nuts too. You don't even have to powerbrake, I just slam it when the light turns green and she spins out until you let off a little bit. He was pulling out of everywhere with my truck when I was behind him in his truck, and he was just going every which way too. He said he was stunned with how much power my ram has. You can tell he's a little bummed that my truck still stays dead even with him even after all that work he had done to his truck. His truck though would kill me on any kind of "30 punch" or something of that nature though, and it goes a lot overall faster because he has 3.55 gearing and smaller tires. But still, I cannot believe my ram still holds dead even with him up to 75 mph, and I don't have nearly as much as him, very impressive on both trucks ends. I will show you some videos of the truck when it stops icing up around here. I'll have him video camera the truck with me just stomping on it with no break standing and it will peel out for a while before it gets traction. There must be higher gears than 4.10, I just dont think 4.10s could break loose 35" tires so effortlessly. Anyway, the mods will keep coming if the ram keeps staying crazy. I love how this truck kicks *** at everything. It can be the offroad king in mud or snow, own the streets in a blizzard or get through a giant block of snow at the end of a driveway, it can towe, it can line 'em up and get in the 8s for a 0-60, this truck is truly versatile, and I love that about it. The more mods I keep shoving into her, the better it will react I hope, very exciting stuff. I'd go crazy without anything but a 4x4 truck, they do it all[8D]

Why don't you just do the test to see what gears you have. It's a very easy thing to check. If your spinning 35's like you say you are (some video evidence is in order I think cause I'm not buying it), you would need at least 4.56, but probably more like 4.88.

Yeah I'd like to see a video of that. Mine will spin the tires by just stomping on it but it won't spin until I let off. It catches fairly quickly. Even if you have 4.56's it should be similar to my 33"s and 4.10's.

Ya, I used to be able to roast my 33" all terrains with 4.10's, but now that i have the 35's and 4.10's, theres no way. Doesn't help having an auto trans either. Gears are such a great mod.

I can smoke 33's (not the ones i have now, too much $$ to burn off), thru 2nd gear with my stock 3.55's. But I have a 5 speed so I dont know if that counts in this converstion [sm=burnout.gif]

I know it sounds like I am bluffing, but truly I am not. Even before I did any mods to the truck, it always had a very unique snap off the line. Everytime I race somebody and smash it off the line (no brakestanding) it will spin them for a good 3-4 seconds before it will get traction and start to take off. So you guys think 4.88s would have to be the gears to make it do that? If they were 4.56's or 4.88s, it would further explain why this truck lacks high end when I race people. It's potent up to around 70mph, and then thats when the people racing me start to come back or pass me if its in a dead heat like what happened last night. I will most assuredly make videos for you when it clears up. The northeast is getting slammed with snow, slush, ice, and rain all at the same time, it's disgusting. Also, Silver_Dodge, what was the protocal again to check what gears I have??

Jack up the rear, turn the tires one full turn and count the number of turns of the pinion.
