Which Custom Grille?!
as long as you are considering custom
why not lean the bottom of the grille outward
and get an aerodynamic improvement
along with the new look?
anyone can create a grille that looks different
it is more of an accomplishment
to create a grille that works better
and still looks impressive

Replacing Headlights.. I do not recomend any aftermarket angel's for our trucks.. they didnt fit well at all. as you can see.. I do appriciate the input.. but Im not to fond of the stock dodge grille.. and doing something like leaning the grille is way to much effort. this was asimple chop and figerglass 50 bucks tops.. to get a custom grill that i personally have never seen.. Im just gonna wait on some of my buddys opinions and then decide.. really didnt think it would be this negative tho.. [sm=insomnia.gif].. Might not be a good idiea to go threw with
I'm needing to replace my grille as well since the chrome has developed a large bubble on the passesger side and it's only a matter of time before it splits.
This is the one I was looking at from LMC:

It's the one at the top, but I ve been waffling between it and the bottom one.

I have a 98 QC, and was thinking about sanding down the bubble and painting it all black, like sport style grill.
I don't have any other chrome on the truck (aside from the bumpers) and think it would look great. thats going to be my spring/summer project.
Heh.. Oldly enouph my grill had the same "bubble" along with chipping on the top of the grille. and squirrel, I think the first one looks better.. but obviously my judgment isnt very good lol
Okay, when I voted but, I thought the white truck looked best. Keep the truck stock. The other grills look stupid. If you just HAVE to change the grill go with a punch grill. They even have a punch with Rams' heads.
Jay Leno said he liked to stay true to what the designer had in mind. They planned it and put it into production. You stray too far way from the stock grill, it is going to look 'off' (and not one-off). Do what you want, but keep that in mind.
If you took a 2nd gen and chopped and channeled it, you would sort of come up with a Dakota. What is the point?
